Farmhouse Perfection in Ferndale
This home was a true labor of love. We remodeled what was a rental property for over 20 years in Ferndale for one of KDB’s very own employees and spared no detail. We started with the classic exterior James Hardie siding and black Lifestyle Pella windows, new cedar overhangs and porch, custom columns and new fence and landscaping. We opened the dining room up to create a large eat-in kitchen with banquette, included double-piece crown cabinets, neutral herringboned backsplash and quartz countertops, stained the floors throughout, installed new doors and trim and built in a functional and beautiful wall of cabinetry with shiplap detail in the living room. The small bathroom has a perfect use of space and is punched with a reclaim wood vanity with carerra marble countertop and black fixtures. We topped this lovely home off with a finished basement complete with a custom wine bar tucked into a nook and a full bathroom. This is a small and mighty dream come true for our team member– and any first time homebuyer!
